Self Defense Courses, Workshops, Gun Day Here's something new! Have you taken our Basic Workshop? Do you want to build on those skills? Now there are Intermediate Workshops. Each intermediate workshop will include Review of the basic verbal and physical techniques covered in the Basic Workshop Kicking and Striking to a Kickpad Role Plays Blocking Techniques Attacks and Defenses. Intermediate 1 includes Basic Side Block, Wrist Release and Choke Holds. Intermediate 2 includes Block Up and Down and Mixed; Ground Defenses. Intermediate 3 includes Block Straight Strike, Multiple Attackers, Attackers with Weapons, Home Weapons. The Price for each INTERMEDIATE workhsop: $20. Save the Date! The 2008 Yvonne Howell Shooting Camp for Women will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008, at the Howell Shooting Club in Yorkville. We've been teaching shooting and gun safety to women for 20 years! The Yvonne Howell Shooting Camp is an all day event, and participants will be able to fire pistols, rifles and shotguns. | SCHOLARSHIP FUND We serve women of different economic capabilities. There is a partial scholarship for the 12 Hour Basic Course only. Your support of an extra $5 or $10 assists us in sponsoring women who could not otherwise attend. Women under 18 years or over 60 years receive a discount. We thank you for your support! | REFRESHER POLICY Complete our 12 Hour Basic Self Defense Course and you can repeat part or all of it free of charge! Come back in a year with your mother. Come back in fourteen years with your daughter! Come back as often as you like to keep your skills (and confidence) fresh! Applies to the 12 Hour Basic Course only. | REGISTRATION POLICIES Register EARLY to ensure a place. If you withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class, you may receive a refund.
